Sorry it has been a couple of days since I last posted a blog – time is just flying by! We have been busy here at ScrapHD getting our Licensing Program for Scrapbook Retailers off the ground!! Basically, we are offering the ScrapHD Builder Application to retailers – which means they can have their own builder with their logo/colors right on their own site!
I don’t know if many of you know this, but our parent company is a wholesale distributor to scrapbook retail stores. They sell to over 2,500 retail stores and for over 90 manufacturers. Our lives revolve around the scrapbooking industry and digital was a natural step in the direction of the future. We didn’t want to neglect our core business though, so ScrapHD (Hybrid Designs) was born.
Hybrid Designs refers to combining the tools and techniques of traditional paper scrapbooking with the tools and techniques of digital scrapbooking. Because we offer printing in traditional scrapbook sizes (12×12, 8×8, 5×7) it provides the ideal situation for hybrid. Create your layouts, print, add physical embellishments, choose an album, page protectors, etc.. For some Hybrid examples click on the Make it Hybrid link to the right of this blog. It truly is the best of both worlds!
So yesterday we launched our first Licensee! We are very excited to have A Cherry On Top as our first retail partner. You may have already noticed in the ScrapHD Community that some of the scrapbooks show up with A Cherry On Top’s logo.
